Hi, I am trying to get my wired PS3 controller to work on the PC (the new Tron Collector's Edition controller). No matter what I do (or what driver I use, not just this one) I can't get the controller to work, or even be recognized except by the default Windows 7 x64 drivers. The controller is not bluetooth capable so I have no use for a BT dongle.

Is there any way for me to get this controller working???

Is it an authentic Sony controller?

MiJ does not work with clone controllers, and the fact that the controller does not use BT indicates that you have a clone controller.

Not much I can tell you except get a genuine controller.

Sorry to burst your bubble mate, but i am using an Intec Ps3 clone and MiJ works beautifully

Who ever originally said that MiJ doesn't work with Clones was wrong.

Jadentsu

Download the MotioninJoy_060001_amd64_signed.zip and run it.

once it's installed run the program.

when the window opens, click QuickStart in the top left of the window.
click the radio box next to Xbox 360 Controller Emulator then click the - - Options link to the right of it.

beside the Xinput there is a drop down box click the drop down box and select Xbox 360 Controller

At the bottom left of that screen, click Enable.

Configure your Ps3 CLONE controller in the game your playing, not in the Motion in Joy program.

This works EXACTLY this way as i use my PS3 CLONE Gamepad in DC Universe Online with MiJ running in the background.

I should say most clones don't work, as there are a select few clones out there that do work (which ones? not quite sure).
I say "none work" so as to 'scare' people away from using clone controllers or to convince people their getting a cheap controller just for MiJ, but failing to read that clone controllers don't really work with MiJ, that they needed to get a genuine controller, since most of the clones actually don't work. Cuts down on "I have a clone controller and it doesn't work" posts.

Don't assume all clones work just because your clone controller works.

I've dug around in the drivers a bit, and mij supports a few clones. The Tron controller is just too new, you'll have to go without analog triggers for a few months at least before there's a compatible driver available.

to work with mij, your hardware id must match one of these codes
VID_054C&PID_0268 (sony duleshock3 sixaxis)
VID_054C&PID_03D5
VID_054C&PID_03A0
VID_045E&PID_028E

Hi all. I read carrefully your replies. I have a 32 bit win 7 home premium system and a clone controller (thrustmaster 3-in-1 dual trigger). I have the drivers installed in computer, my game configuration detects the controller and in game it doesn't work!! Is there a zip file for 32 bit systems for clones cause "user" posted a file for 64 bit systems...
