I am experiencing a weird problem that nobody else seems to have. The program will start up fine (but it says that there is no device found, but my dualshock 3 is in ((and installed)) via usb) then i click on Driver manager from quick start menu, i accept the "run as administrator" popup, then it says no device was found again. then i go to the driver manager, and with my dualshock 3 plugged in, i click load driver and then.. bam. the program INSTANTLY stops working, like it doesn't even try to get the driver. i have allowed ds3 tool through my firewall, i have tried compatability modes, nothing seems to work. On top of that, nobody else seems to be having this problem, so I was hoping to get help here. Any help would be appreciated. I am running windows vista home premium service pack 2 64 bit. Edit: I have also noticed that this same thing happens when i click remove drivers

I am having exact same problem. This was right after the program updated. I wish there was someway to revert the update.

EDIT: I am using Windows 7 64-bit

I've got the same problem. DS3 Tool was working just fine. But when I got a Bluetooth adapter (its compatible, I checked) I realized that the program wasn't recognizing the device. I remembered that I hadn't installed the Bluetooth driver because I hadn't had the need for one. So when I tried to get the driver by pressing "Load" in Driver Manager, DS3 Tool crashed immediately. There was no messages showing any progress, the standard Windows "[Program name] is not responding" appeared immediately.

My big problem is that I uninstalled MotionJoy and tried a clean install to see if that would work. That clearly wasn't the case; now all I have is a PS3 controller that won't be recognized properly by my computer, wireless or otherwise.

Help please! I'm also using the 64-Bit Windows 7.

Well, I fixed my problem. I just plugged in the controller and Bluetooth dongle into the USB ports that I had originally used to set them up and it worked again, without even having to reinstall the drivers again. So I can use my DS3 again.

However, if i do try to remove or install the drivers, the DS3Tool still freezes. And my controller is not showing up in the Blutooth pair page, though bluetooth still works.

I am having the same issue. Every time I go to Load Driver, the program crashes.

edit: I just set up Local Mode and was able to get everything installed just fine.

“load” driver need administer elevated, and Anti-Virus Software prevents installing driver.

I tried disabling all anti-virus software and running DS3 Tool as an administrator, but no dice. Is there an elevated administrator option to select that I'm not aware of? Is this a 64-bit exclusive error? Or is something just wrong with my system?
