When i plug in the controller, it starts charging, and doesnt get picked up by windows in a anyway, it isnt recognized as usb device or anything. (nothing even slightly related pops up in device manager)

so to sum it up:

I followed tutorial, until the part where i plugin my ps3 controller, nothing happens there.
Help is appreciated

EDIT: Got Win7 x64, using x64 install package (latest version 0.6.0005)

P.S. Please do not derail this thread with your own problems but give me answers instead :)

The front ports on my PC like to act up with certain devices from time to time and my usb extension cables have to be plugged in to one of my back ports. So if you havent already then try moving the controller to a different usb port.

I can't offer you a solid solution, all I can say is that Encryption767's way is probably your best bet.

I'm currently having the same problem on a 64-bit Windows 7, but not two months ago I would use my PS3 controller, in either of my USB boards, without complication. All I know is that sometimes it just didn't register, usually it did, so I don't think it was a matter of lacking drivers etc. I'd advise just retrying regularly and hoping for the best.

Cruddy advice, to be sure- but it works for me most of the time... I think it's just the software, there's not a lot of people catering to console-controller-controlled emulation and such, so it's a reasonable assumption that those who do, start from the very barest of scratches and therefore can't get everything running 110% till they're basically the new Bink Video... Good luck.

Speak of the devil, just as I hit enter on that post, I plugged in my controller and boom, sucka. It would seem to be almost always a matter of what type of USB port you're using. Also if you have a USB to Mini USB v2 (PS3 controller wire, for example) with coil casings on either end of the wire, as opposed to just one, you may never have trouble again. However, this is only observation of my own experiences and those of my friends, so I only have forty or so people who could testify as such. I hope you get your hardware working!

For me its motion joy that don't detect the ps3 controler.

The computer detect it as an HID pad and ask everytime to restart.

But on the profile page nothing the connection bar load load and load and never stop restarting.

Guys.. If YOU have a problem, make your own topic.. its very disrespectfull to hijack someones problem and invade with your own..

now.. I dont even use USB, i only use it to pair my controller via bluetooth once and thats it.. so Im suing bluetooth and i never plug cable again..

I think the problem is within the software, and im asking, is there a possible Option to make the controller button not to flood a keystroke in Custom Mode?

Maybe an Update is required for such option to appear or for the problem to be fixed all togther?

again, if you have different problem, post your own topic about it!

Thank you.

Add to that the fact you'll be putting yourself in a safer, more braced position and it seems like a no-brainer. Chris onsidehockeytraining.comChris Collins has a Master of Science degree and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). I would caution you to only do this once per year as it can take a big chunk out of your profits. "For all orders received the week of....
