I'm using Motionjoy for MAME, and with the old v0.60005, the only issue was that Start and Select got registered as their opposites when configuring buttions in MAME.

With this new version however, there are several issues, regardless of whether you choose PS2 POV or PS3:

L1 gets registered as L2
L2 gets registered as L1
R1 gets registered as R2
R2 gets registered as R1
SELECT gets registered as L1
START gets registered as R3
L3 gets registered as SELECT
R3 gets registered as L3

Secondly, what happned to the export/import configuration option?

Love Motionjoy, hope this gets fixed in the next verson.

I don't know whether you're aware of this but MAME is an arcade machine emulator, that emulates a ton of old arcade games. If you want to use a joypad for playing, you enter the button configurator in the emulator, and press the appropriate button. Lets say i want to "insert coin" by pressing L1. I go to "insert coin" button configuration, and press L1. Then a button for "press start", ect.

Now, with this new version however, pressing L1 registers as L2 in Mame. (I press L1 but MAME tells me I've pressed L2. Obviously Motionjoy has it's button registering in windows messed up.

That basically means I can't use MAME unless I want to reconfigure the above mentioned buttons + the annoyance of seeing the emulator telling me how "insert coin" is set to the L2 button, when in reality the actual button I have to press on the joypad is L1.

Put simply, the buttons obviously should be registered as what they are, and that means that I press L1 and the emulator registers "L1". I press SELECT and it registers as "SELECT" ect.

I need to try again, but I cannot get 0.7.1001 to work at all. When trying to start DS3_Tool after installation, it does not start the tool at all.

0.6.0005 works perfectly for me though.

Hi,
I'm using Motioninjoy since a lot on a Win7 x64 system.
Some time ago I bought both the bt receiver and a ps3 ds3 controller from your sponsor, this one http://www.gameaccy.com/bluetooth-wirel ... er-for-ps3 .
It works perfect with ps3 and worked with previous Motioninjoy version, 0.6.0005, that I have just tried again.
With latest 0.7* versions it just does not connect at all via bluetooth, while other ps3 original joysticks just work fine.
Hints or is this a known / new bug?

Recently Motionjoy asked me to update and iv been having problems with the program ever since.
Iv tried both the latest versions. Both seem to recognise the controller and I can go into the game controller panel and it will recognise all buttons on controller (Except joysticks) but no games will recognise the controller as a 360 controller or at all.

Iv uninstalled and reinstalled both latest versions but none will work, both are overly slow and hang constantly aswell.

I have a few questions regarding the software:

(I wasn't too sure where to post as the whole forum is full of spam :| )

I am using version 0.7.1001

1. Why are there 2 sets of buttons? Is the 2nd set the pressure-sensitive buttons and the 1st set the digital buttons?

Here are images that explain:

1st set of buttons
2nd set of buttons

If the 2nd set is the pressure-sensitive buttons, I think you should add a sub-heading to make it more clear :)
