Hello.

I have a problem. When i plug my ps3 controller on my pc, it's only detected half of the time.

I tried everything, yesterday, it was working fine, today it's not even detected.

Any clue?

Thanks.

Restart the pc, make sure to hit F8 and disable the driver enforcement. The only times I had issues with the controller was when I had forgotten to disable the enforcement.

You have to disable the driver enforcement from the F8 menu otherwise the software does not work.

Since you are working on a laptop the F8 boot option may have been disabled, best check with you laptop manufacturer on how to access the F8 menu during boot up.

I have a similar problem. I have a 32-bit operating system and I have gone through all the the steps up till after installing the usb driver I even disabled the driver enforcement for in case. But my controller just keeps flashing all lights and even tho the computer detects it is there, it doesn't detect any commands on the controller. Motionjoy doesn't recognize the controller either. I use windows vista btw.

That only applies to 64-bit systems, 32-bit systems don't need to worry about disabling driver signature enforcement.
You likely have a 32-bit system, but go to Control Panel->System and see if you have 32 or 64-bit. If you use XP you likely have 32-bit.

I have the same problem. It says no controller detected, and i can use everything in my emulators except for my analog joysticks. If i completely close out the ds3 tool in the system tray at the bottom right and restart it, however, it seems to refresh and detect it again, which allows me to use the joysticks again. Try that and see if it picks it up again after it drops it. Not entirely convenient, I admit, but better than no controller at all.
