Local files updated to version 0.7.1001. Fixed some bugs but sure there are plenty left.
Due to buggy local mode of official DS3_Tool I had to rebuild it to DS3_Tool_Local.

Installation: unpack the archive into MotioninJoy\ds3 folder.

Revision 2:
Several bugfixes and new tool added: SetDS3forPCSX2 – silently configures MJ for PCSX2 DS3 native mode input, can be put in autorun and works even with no controllers connected. Settings set by DS3_Tool are not preserved (read back of settings isn't implemented in driver?), but for native mode it shouldn't matter.

Revision 3:
Another small bugfix. SetDS3forPCSX2 now configures first 4 controllers, not just one as from rev2.
Update. It looks like rev3 still configures only first controller. For the first 4 get the update: http://forums.motioninjoy.com/viewtopic.php?p=13527#p13527

Thanx for doing this, it's terrific. When you say unpack under ds3 folder, is it really necessary? I mean, you still have to manually start the DS3_Tool_local.exe? Or am I doing something wrong?

Either way, this terrific version can work all on it's own with the V7 driver loaded into system. It works regardles of where the DS3_Tool_local.exe is started from.

Many thanx again.

Great job. I certainly couldn't acheieve this on my own. Now I can theme it properly.

I understand that MiJ is using IE as it's browser framework. Do you know what version? Or maybe it depends on your installed IE version? I bet you got the answer. :)

SilverBlade007, it works the same way as previous local version, except you need to run DS3_Tool_local.exe instead of DS3_Tool.exe. It probably can work on its own, but for Install/Remove driver options it requires the other files that are in ds3 folder.

Nightfox, as far as I can see original online version starts in IE8 mode, my rebuild defaults to IE7 somehow, but at the beginning of index.html it explicitly requests IE8, so it's still IE8 in the end.

Ok I dug into the html, implementing my theme to it. It is set to IE8 environment but I changed that to IE9 so basically whoever still has IE8, will need to upgrade to 9, even if they don't use it. :)

SEt, can you totally remove the top bar with the local and help button? It's useless, I'll just put a Help link in the html.

IE9 is worse than IE8 because it blurs text too much. Also you can't use IE9 with older than Vista Windows versions.

Removing top bar completely is a bit problematic as there are places with hardcoded sizes/offsets that would also require correction.

Actually, I'm not sure I care about MJ anymore as I found out that libusb works well with DS3+PCSX2 (the only thing I need), looks way more professionally written and actually free (without intent to show you ads or sell certain controllers).

Can you connect the DS3 via bluetooth and emulate a 360 controller? That's the key features of MJ. I know MJ is poorly written but I have no alternative. I actually bought Winds3 which seems far better but the asshole dev ran away without making it support 64 bit so it rendered it useless for me.

I believe mostly everyone use MJ to use their DS3 as a 360 controller because of how many games support this.

I read there are solutions for BT with libusb, but haven't researched this area as I use it with USB right now. As for 360 controller emulation – again, I'm not interested, but it looks not hard to do.

Wish I could do it myself. I'll have to stick with MiJ.
