Hi!
I am trying to play Fifa 10 with my DS3. But I cant get it to work. Fifa simply doesnt recognize the gamepad at all. In other games the gamepad works just fine.
If I configure a profile assigning keyboard keys to the gamepad buttons, i can play. But this is just a very poor workarround since i have no menu support and the movements are not very smooth.
Is there a way to solve this?

P.S: Gamepad is connected via USB.

Hi,
seems to be a general problem of supported pads by fifa-games.
You have to edit the "devdata.dat" to add your controller. I haven't done this yet but i'm sure you will find the settings by searching for this keyword.

Hi,
seems to be a general problem of unsupported pads by fifa-games.
You have to edit the "devdata.dat" to add your controller. I haven't done this yet but i'm sure you will find the settings by searching for this keyword.

Hey,
got the same problem with sixaxis3 and Fifa 10 (Win7 x64 ultimate).
Win7 recognize the Controller. I can test everything (even motion sens; depends on the Profile) AND play Games.
BUT Fifa2010 don't recognize the controller.
I've tried:
-> unplug and replug
-> reset during plugged in
-> reset during plugged off and replug, then ps3-Button
-> that all in Windows and then started Fifa2010 and even straight in Fifa2010 (Fifa2010 can recognize Controllers plugged in while the game is running).
-> All of the profiles, even XBOX
-> All possible Names in Devdata (see below)
I have 2 Controllers in Win7 listed:
1.) PS(R) Gamepad
2.) HID-Gamepad
Both tells me at Test/Calibration-Window the Name
-> MotioninJoy Virtual Game Controller
That only changes with XBOX-Profile into just one Controller listed in Win7 and another Name in Test/Calibration-Window.
Any hints?

i m using MotioninJoy_040002 on windows vista.........i can play fifa 10 using my ps3 dualshock  just use the xbox profile and fifa will recognize it as an xbox controller(which is an official gamepad for fifa).......u dont need to edit devdat also
